On October 31, at 8 a.m., Apple held a special event. At the special event, Apple unveiled a new MacBook Pro, a 24-inch iMac and three M3 chips. The special event took 30 minutes in total. According to the Egg, the special event was filmed on an iPhone and edited on a Mac.
Apple first introduced the M3 chip. It is reported that there are three versions of the M3 chip, namely M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chip, which is the world’s first PC chip using 3nm technology. It uses a new GPU design with industry-first dynamic caching, support for mesh shading rendering, and hardward-level ray-tracing acceleration. The M3 chip renders 1.8 times faster than the M2.
The chip is currently included in the current MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac.
Apple introduced the second product for the MacBook Pro, the MacBook Pro has two models, respectively 14 inches and 16 inches, at the same time launched a new color dark sky black. The new MacBook Pro is fully equipped with M3 chips, offering up to 128GB of RAM and 8TB of storage, and up to 22 hours of battery life.
Apple said its 24-inch iMac is a bestseller around the world, and the new update focuses on the M3 chip. With the M3 chip, the new iMac is 2.5 times better than the 27-inch top Intel model, and about four times better than the 24-inch M1. In addition, the new iMac offers up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of in-body storage with a 4.5K resolution Retina display.
