Samsung has provided a sneak peek into three upcoming Odyssey gaming monitors, just ahead of CES 2024. All three monitors boast OLED displays, complemented by AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400. Additionally, each monitor incorporates Samsung’s proprietary anti-glare technology, effectively minimizing reflections from daylight and ambient light.

Leading the pack is the 49-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G95SD curved ultra-wide monitor. With a DQHD (5120×1440) resolution, a rapid 0.03ms response time, a high 240Hz refresh rate, and a cinematic 32:9 aspect ratio, this monitor also grants access to Samsung’s smart TV platform and the cloud-based Gaming Hub. The design is sleek, featuring a slim form factor, and it is slightly smaller than the imposing Odyssey Ark.

Next is the Odyssey G80SD, Samsung’s first flat 32-inch OLED gaming monitor. Delivering 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, an impressive 0.03ms response time, and a zippy 240Hz refresh rate, this ultra-thin monitor is ideal for compact desks, measuring just under four millimeters in width. It achieves a peak brightness of 450 nits and comes equipped with CoreLighting+ technology for customizable ambient lighting.

The 27-inch OLED G60SD, despite its relatively smaller size, boasts a remarkable 360Hz refresh rate and QHD (2560×1440) resolution. Featuring Samsung’s CoreLighting+ technology for ambient lighting effects, this monitor sports a slim, metallic form factor and offers adjustable comfort through tilt, pivot, and swivel functionalities.

While pricing details are still pending, Samsung has promised that these monitors will hit the market sometime this year. Additional information, including pricing, may be revealed during CES 2024 next week. Notably, Samsung unveiled a range of Odyssey gaming monitors at CES 2023, and they were all available for purchase by mid-year.
